Requirements: Valid U.S. photo ID, stable internet, quiet/bright space, and ability to answer quick identity (KBA) questions. Approved case-by-case (remote signer, long drive, or timing needs). Cancellation Policy

REMOTE ONLINE NOTARIZATION (RON) BOOKING POLICY 1) WHAT RON IS Remote Online Notarization (RON) is notarization completed online using secure two-way audio/video technology. During the appointment, the notary is physically located in Maryland, and the signer must be physically located within the United States. 2) REQUIRED FOR YOUR SESSION To proceed with RON, you must have: • A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (or passport) • A stable internet connection • A computer/tablet/smartphone with a working camera and microphone • A quiet, well-lit environment where you can be clearly seen on camera • Your document in digital form and NOT signed in advance 3) DOCUMENT UPLOAD (IMPORTANT) Please upload your unsigned document at least 1 hour before your appointment. After the document is received, you’ll be sent instructions to complete identity verification and access your secure RON session. 4) IDENTITY VERIFICATION + SESSION READINESS RON requires identity verification through the secure platform. If identity verification cannot be completed, the session may need to be rescheduled and fees may apply. Logging in late may be treated as a no-show. 5) RESERVATION CREDIT POLICY Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Payments made at booking are applied to your notarization when service is completed. • Cancel/reschedule 24+ hours before: full refund or full credit (your choice). • Cancel/reschedule within 24 hours: credit only (no refund). Credit is valid for 7 days. • No‑show: booking credit is forfeited. A “no‑show” includes not joining the session within 10 minutes of the start time, failure to complete requ 6) THIRD‑PARTY FEES Third‑party platform fees (RON provider fees) and payment processing fees may be non‑refundable and are subject to those providers’ policies. 7) RECORDING + RETENTION RON sessions are recorded, and audio‑visual recordings are retained as required by Maryland law (minimum 10 years). 8) LIMITATIONS / NO LEGAL ADVICE Ink & Trust Notary Services, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We cannot tell you what type of notarization you need, draft documents, or guarantee acceptance by any court, agency, or receiving party. You are responsible for confirming that the receiving party will accept Remote Online Notarization. Completed notarial acts and related platform fees are non‑refundable.
